John Lennonの「Happy Xmas」

数年前熊本に出張したとき、熊本のアーケード街を歩いているとJohn Lennonの「 Happy Xmas (War is over)」が聴こえてきました。路上でJohn Lennonの追悼演奏会をしていました。12月8日、John Lennonの命日でした。もう銃殺されてからもう34年も過ぎてしまいました。国境のない世界の平和を望んだJohn Lennonでした。ベトナム戦争が終わり、冷戦時代を終え、ベルリンの壁が崩壊して、平和の光が見え始めたかのように見えました。しかし、不信と憎しみの紛争は絶えることがないようです。
